Our Purpose
ASAP is committed to serving our community and the children of our community. We have chosen the avenue of art—in many of its different modes—in order to convey a sense of the joy there is in discovering, experiencing, and expressing the classic virtues: truth, beauty, goodness, faith, hope and love.
The art projects and recreation opportunities we offer are aimed at reinforcing those virtues. We believe that childhood becomes a richer, fuller experience when children are taught artistic skills and physical coordination through which they can communicate with and experience the world around them in positive ways.
In order to achieve this purpose, we have gathered a competent, qualified staff who love children, who are devoted to our values and committed to our purpose.
To serve you better, we have scheduled our programs to coincide with the school year and the daily work schedules of parents. In addition to art and sports instruction, your children will have the opportunity to play and to study. Space is provided in our schedule for children to do homework and reading each day.
Parents are always welcome on site and to watch their children as they learn and grow. ASAP is here to serve your needs as parents.
We are not a government-licensed day care or child-care facility, and we hereby state that clearly. Your children will be participating in a recreational and educational program that is not primarily designed to conform to state-approved child-care regulations; this is also true of organizations like the Boys and Girls Club or Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. However, please know that we observe the highest standards in safety and staff screening and staff supervision. Your child will be safe and well-cared for in a clean, child-friendly environment.
